Official Partnership with Leicestershire County Cricket Club extended.

Thorpes Joinery have officially joined forces with Leicestershire’s #RunningFoxes once again.

As a company, we have long-supported Leicestershire, with both the club and sport close to the hearts of many at our organisation, but in recent years we have stepped up our commitment to The Foxes, becoming the first Captain’s Club member, before signing up as a featured sponsor of the club’s training shirts.

We were also delighted to assist in the production of a striking, bespoke reception desk featuring the famous “Running Fox” logo, as well as supplying other bespoke items to furnish the Club’s new commercial and retail office in the summer of 2022.

Thorpes Joinery have been a loyal partner to the Club over the years and have been instrumental in supporting the development of our new front-of-ground offices.

The professionalism of finish they achieve with everything they do for us has set the standard for us – they are an essential part of our modern infrastructure vision for LCCC.
— Sean Jarvis, Leicestershire Chief Executive

Shared Values

Aside from supporting a local team, and the fact that it is hard to beat an evening down at the cricket in the summer, the choice to align ourselves with Leicestershire was an easy one.

As with any business decision, one of our key considerations surrounds how our values stack up with theirs, and in the case of LCCC this could not have been a simpler decision. With a deeply ingrained culture consisting of six main components, the County demonstrate exactly what we are all about: family, courage, transparency, respect and pride in their history.

These values are as important in both business and sports settings and make the process of working together both socially and formally straight-forward and productive.

We are delighted to continue our relationship with LCCC. Our shared values of transparency, family, respect and community make for an ideal match, and we are excited to support the club both on and off the field.

“We look forward to another successful year and wish the Club every success for the season
— John Thorpe, Group Managing Director

We would like to wish the Running Foxes all of the best for the upcoming campaign, and look forward to supporting them both on and off the pitch once again!
