2022 heralded both the end of an era and an exciting new start for Real Estate company, Gerald Eve as they made the move into their new 26,000 sq ft West End London office at One Fitzroy.

Recognition

Reflecting the priorities of the firm, this optimum location not only delivers a base building and fit-out with an ‘Excellent’ BREEAM rating but also achieves a FitWell rating of 2 stars.

The Design

Our work can be found across both levels of the project within areas designed to encourage staff to work, refresh, and communicate.

In particular, the slatted feature walls that can be found along both sides of the four-by-seven shelving. This design ‘adding depth and personality’ consists of ten 600mm sections, made from slats of numerous heights. Each section was grouped, sprayed, and assembled separately to promote speed and efficiency. Once joined a seamless and unique look is projected to anyone who enters.

To complement this, guests, and staff are also greeted by a two-person desk with an oak veneer finish specifically colour-matched to the flooring to create a unified and integrated look. This desk showcases a deep green fabric back panel, which allows the back-lit logo and signage to contrast and stand out. LEDs can be found throughout the project and are a great way to illuminate and catch attention.

This floor features ample space for not only work but also collaboration, for example, the vibrant seating shown on both floors of the project. Sofas, benches, and curved seating have been included to encourage staff to enjoy a space away from the typical desk environment.

A 35 ft fluted timber planter and curved seating can be found on the tail end of the entrance to the first floor. This area has a modern and distinctly natural feel, incorporating an abundance of natural light and greenery.

We are proud to have contributed to this five-month project and to have worked alongside BW to create a space with a unified and professional atmosphere, perfectly in line with the client’s ethos.
