Site Manager
So, what’s the role?
Thorpes Joinery is currently looking for a candidate to manage our high-end project sites.
This role includes work in connection with supervising and managing site-based activities such as recording attendees and progress daily, coordinating deliveries to the site, ensuring accuracy and quality across all works, and a variety of other tasks.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the successful candidate will integrate themselves into our management framework, and efficiently operate the site.
Interacting with members of both our production and installation teams to ensure that each project is carried out efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Our Site Manager will oversee the entirety of the project from the initial Scope of Works to the handover.

Skillset
The role requires a conscientious approach, demonstrating strong organisational skills, and being able to communicate with various parts of our company, as well as clients.
We would expect the successful candidate to have experience in managing a team and be ready to get stuck in to become a vital part of each project.
Personality and enthusiasm are critical.
Overall, we are looking for a candidate who:
Has an eye for detail and strives for accuracy
Has a conscientious approach to work
Possesses strong communication skills and can think on their feet
Has a good level of physical fitness
Is able to deal with queries in a professional and confidential manner
Able to multitask
Is organised
Is able to make their own decisions.
Lives or can commute to London with ease.
Can display natural leadership skills, able to get the best out of their team whilst developing their skills
Experience
Experience is a must within this role.
Supervisory Training
Good Joinery skill level
SMSTS and NVQ Level 6
CSCS, First Aid, PPASMA, WAH, COSHH, Asbestos Awareness Certification
Working hours
The working hours differ from each project and are based on ensuring completion within a set time frame.
