Details matter.

Our designers understand this as well as anyone, knowing that even the smallest detail can have a crucial impact.

Utilising their extensive industry experience, our designers are on hand to offer technical advice at design stage and create clear, functional drawings.

Comfortable working with the latest in 3D design software, as well as the more traditional 2D systems such as AutoCAD.

Accurate.

Working from concept sketches, through to detailed architectural documents, our team create workable, pragmatic joinery drawings to assist all levels of the supply chain.

Each project is overseen by a dedicated Design Manager, and they ensure that our design process is both fast in it’s delivery and accurate in it’s output to be of maximum assistance to our client’s project planning and management.

With a department of 8 full time staff, each with several years experience in the industry, we can be confident of being up to any challenge presented to us.

Modern.

Construction is an industry famed for it’s innovation as it constantly evolves, finding novel solutions to modern conundrums in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

One such leap forward is the adoption and usage of BIM (Building Information Modelling), a process for digitally creating and managing information across the project lifecycle.

Resulting in a collaborative 3D model of a workspace, this technology brings a host of benefits. From creating a visual representation of an item easing the approval process, to aiding the path to manufacture and assembly for our factory teams.

Lead by our BIM Manager, Josiah Ford, this technology has been gladly adopted within Thorpes, as we look to provide the best possible service to our clients.
