Jamie Thorpe promoted to Sales Director
We are delighted to announce that Jamie Thorpe has joined the Board of Thorpes Joinery Limited.
The Journey
Jamie joined Thorpes Joinery in 2013 and has witnessed our company expand and evolve whilst following his own journey of progression.
After completing his Business Management degree and working briefly as a Research Assistant for ITV, Jamie became the fourth generation of the Thorpe family to join the business, stepping into the role of site-based Commercial Assistant.
Throughout the next eight years, Jamie’s progression saw him fulfil multiple roles, starting on-site in London, before establishing the Marketing Department. His natural affinity for branding and sales meant that his progression into the role of Sales & Marketing Manager was an obvious one.
Looking Forward
For the past four years Jamie has grown and developed in the role of Sales & Marketing Manager. During this time, he supported Managing Director John Thorpe and Head of Pre-Construction Mathew Roberts in becoming one of our client’s main points of contact, generating opportunities for the company and overseeing the strategic direction of the Marketing Department.
He has demonstrated nothing but enthusiasm and passion for his work, and a real drive to evolve and secure the company's future.
Therefore, we are thrilled to share Jamie’s appointment into his new role as Sales Director.
Alongside his current responsibilities, Jamie will now be the main driver of sales opportunities and overall branding for Thorpes Joinery, and will support the Board of Directors in working towards the overall direction of the company.
After watching him grow on both a professional and personal level we have the utmost faith that Jamie will revel in this role and continue to play a big part in the continued evolution of Thorpes Joinery.
